The first days
- Leave the wrap on for the time your artist tells you (usually 2–4 hours, or 3–5 days for second-skin film).
- Wash gently with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
- Apply a very thin layer of the aftercare cream we recommend, 2–3 times a day.
- Do not scratch or pick at flakes and scabs — let them fall off naturally.
- Wear loose, clean clothing over the tattoo.
Island rules: sun, sea & pool
- No swimming in the sea or pools for at least 2 weeks — salt water, chlorine and bacteria slow healing and can cause infection.
- Stay out of direct sun while healing. After healing, always use SPF 50 on your tattoo to keep it sharp.
- Sweat and humidity are normal here — wash gently when needed and keep the area clean.
